Moving Day...

We moved the end of January

Not that big of a deal. We moved a whole 4 houses down on our street, but it was a house that was bigger for our family so that was nice. Since we moved just down the street the boys got to help take stuff down...

It was a completely chaotic move into a house that other then the extra room I would have liked to stay in our old house. But that is Ok. Anyway.... that is all for that. Short and sweet (really I just wanted to post and remember those pictures! The boys where so excited and so cute about it! I loved it!) anyway. I am TRYING to catch up!

Jackson's Birthday

So I have gotten on here numerous time to blog... and it just doesn’t seem to happen... PLUS Blogger has been sucking it up royally on uploading my pictures, so to get back at blogger, I quit my post then and there. No questions asked. Anyway... I know I am behind... and I KNOW that this is a January post.. but ya now what? That is just the kind of girl that I am!

Jackson's birthday was on January 8th, we had a little get together and ate some cookies for his birthday night and he opened a couple presents but we saved most of the excitement for his big party.

We had a bunch of family and friends over to help the little guy ring in his first year of life!

He of course got his own cake...

Showing off before digging in!!

While all of us shared this cuteness....

Then he opened all his presents....

He has been such a wonderful addition to our family... And I just wanted to post the top 10 things (so I don't get out of hand) I love about Jackson!

1.He is the happiest baby/toddler I have ever met and can brighten a day with his wonderful smile. He is constantly smiling and (now at 18 mths), repeating everything he feels that he should... but nothing he doesn't feel like saying (please for example)

2. He is so patient with his two older brothers and loves and looks up to them! He loves wrestling with them and running around after them. He always wants to be where they are at and the boys have started fighting over who gets to play with him! He mimics a lot of what they do (mostly the stuff I would rather he not mimic) and one of his favorite things is to get them to laugh at him

3. He has so much energy and comes up with the cutest little things like bear crawling in circles... he has also always loved to pull a blanket over his face and laugh and kick his feet like crazy. ‘Hellos’ or phones are his like favorite toy ever and he loves to run in a circle jump up and land on his butt, and he loves the laughs he gets when he does that.

4. He will give you kisses right when you pick him up so that you will put him down... If it doesn't work he will give you kisses again and again trying to get you to put him down. If you don't smack your lips when he kisses you he will usually keep trying to give you kisses harder and harder till you do smack your lips. Or he just gets frustrated and wants you to leave him alone.

5. If you try to put him to sleep he cries and cries and then beats his head into your chest before he finally falls asleep. Every night we put him to bed he cries. No matter what. He cries.... like SCREAMS... then all of a sudden he is done and content ... just don't you DARE show your face again or it usually starts back over!!

6. When he is talking to you really intent he will tilt his head and talk to you... Now, when you ask him a question, doesn't matter what it is he will say No. If you say 'Jackson' he says 'what.' He likes to hand you things (for example every clean pair of socks you just put away) and say 'Thank you' after each one. He also loves to unload the dishwasher (take everything out and then I get to go see where he put it) and load it, and by load it I mean put all his toys in the dishwasher.

7. How he sings 'beat it' high pitched, he sings thriller and we will rock you also. When he dances he laughs and runs in circles... because it is the coolest thing ever.

8. He always tries to pick up our dogs, both the rat terrier and the boxer. He also likes to randomly just go and sit on the dogs... and one of them is really good about letting him do it.

9. Once he learned to throw stuff away we have lost many cups and clean diapers. His favorite thing to do is take all the cups out of our cup drawer (yes we have a cup drawer. easier for the boys to get cups) and spread them around the house... seriously, he loves it... however, we have like no clean cups ever.

10. He is a cuddler... he wants to be picked up just to be hugged, you can see the love he has for you when he stops playing and just comes and give you a hug and goes along with his business. Its awesome and so wonderful to see in someone so small.

Jackson is amazing. I can’t believe he has grown as fast as he has and it makes me so sad to think that he will be 2 in January, just a short like 5 months away... its not fair they are small for such a short time. I love his innocence and wonder as he finds new things around him. I also love that he is learning to talk and is using his words to get across to us what he wants. Its wonderful, Jackson is wonderful!

And while it is incredibly random. I will leave you with this (He is sound asleep, quit the heavy sleeper)...
