Oh so many posts so little time!!!

So I was totally going to get on tonight and blog my little heart out because I so badly want to be caught up so I can blog about the holiday season as it happens... BUT I am currently in organizing heaven! I got this case to put 1000 DVDs in, I get to organize by genre, than alphabetize them, I get to write the title and than do an index... Might sound mundane but I have been waiting for Kyle to give me the go ahead to do this since Thurs or Fri of last week!! So I am going to write just a little bit about sweet growing up too fast Jackson! He has been crawling like a mad man and than last week or maybe the week before he pulled himself up to standing, THAN last night he started walking around the furniture he isn't even 9 months!! Why can't he be late doing these things??? I just want him little for as long as possible dang it!! Anyway.. I must go, DVD's are calling me :)

Lagoon!!!

That's right!! Its time for a Lagoon post! I feel like this post has been looming over my head, I know that I have to do it, I just haven't, I am pretty sure none of you have felt the pressure to read this, and really the only person who has put pressure on me is me... but ya know! soooooo... on our way to Lagoon we had to stop by at the store for Mistie to run in and grab something (I can't remember what) and she grabbed a spray bottle which saved our lives while we were outside the whole time! While we were all waiting in the car Kyle moved his seat up as close as he could for our pure enjoyment :)

So than we were off to Lagoon, we had been telling the boys for like weeks we were going to Lagoon instead of the fair and they just didn't quit get what Lagoon was, they kind of got a taste of what they were in for when we drove past it to get to the hotel, but they really didn't know, when we pulled up the clouds parted and a choir started singing, Lagoon was draped in this wondrous light! It was amazing.... Ok, not really but you can imagine what it would be like if it did :) Anyway, we get everyone out and headed into Lagoon, the first ride we hit was the haunted house... Braxten wouldn't go, but here is our first pics right inside Lagoon:

The first ride the boys (Sawyer (Mistie's son), Braxten and Gannon) hit was this dragon ride that I took them on:

We than hit the ladybug drop and the dino bop which were so much fun! Even for me! Gannon did wonderful, laughed the whole time, FREAKED Braxten out, he was so scared!!

This is him with me and Jackson the next time everyone went on the ride because he refused to go again
We were able to split the time with the younger kids between the sets of adults very well, we all were able to spend time with the kids and go on older rides, I feel like we couldn't have done it better if we had planned it!! Here they are on some more rides!

Gannon and Quinncy on Odysea

Braxten and Kyle
I am posting this picture even though you can't see Kyle and the boys... I know they are there and that is all that counts :)

Braxten, Quinncy and Gannon

Rattlesnake rapids where we all got soaked!!! Here's the proof

After that we went to get some ice cream

Than we went on some more rides, Jackson went on his first ride on the train...

He was so excited he gave Connor a face hug in true Jackson style!!

Sawyer was in heaven! Funny Sawyer!

We stopped for some treats and Kyle got a slushie and decided to share some with Jackson

Like 2 seconds after this picture was taken Jackson grabbed the straw and red slushie seriously drenched him! All over that nice white outfit.
Jackson seriously was a trooper, he just hung out and let us spray him with water and talked to us while we waited for the kids to get off of rides...

Kyle was so kind to entertain us while we waited for rides to get over

Everyone was sooo exhausted, especially the little ones!

At the end of the night there was a mad dash to get everyone on their last rides that they wanted to go on! Everyone scrambled to get to the Odysea since the line was finally short enough and me and Mistie decided to go grab everyone cotton candy, and we had our own personal cotton candy holder help us out!

He had fun kicking the cotton candy
We finally met up at the end of the night and got our last couple pictures in of all the kids...

It really was a wonderful day, all the kids had so much fun, I had a blast, Kyle had a blast, but boy were we ready to go back to the hotel, shower and go to bed and get ready for another fun filled day!!

I was just outside and I was COLD in a sweater!! YAY! YAY! YAY! Love it!

So it says it all in the title... I was cold, standing there waiting forever for my mom to pick me up shivering cold and loving it... But the real reason for this post is this... My parents found out some bad news a couple weeks back and can I tell you that I am astounded by... well them! When I heard I had to hear from Kyle through a text and I was in class so I couldn’t call or do well anything, after class I could barely stand to even call my mom because I was upset and knew I would cry which she didn’t need (which I did on the phone with her) She asked if I wanted to talk to my dad and I cried harder, I couldn’t help it! But you know what completely threw me off? Them! They were so happy and at peace (out back having a BBQ just the 2 of them) and they well, just showed me what being a good Christian adult is all about! She told me they know it is in God’s hands and that they know they will be fine. So I want to say to you mom and dad, that you inspire me to be better, to realize what I have and not take it for granted, to remain calm and know that God is there and will always help us through anything we are having problems with! You guys have taught me soooo much over the years on how to be a responsible, loving, nurturing parent and adult, and I am so proud to say You are my mom and dad!! I love you guys and I appreciate all that you have ever done for me and the wonderful life you have given me! If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be me! You know you will get through this and again you have led by example, a great example.... I truly love you guys will all my heart and am here for you no matter what!

THE LEAVES ARE CHANGING!!! THE LEAVES ARE CHANGING!!!!

So I have so many things to post about its not even funny!! I am going to keep a running tally on here so I don't forget! They are going to be out date because well they go back to August but ya know... I want to remember so I shall post them! Here is what I am waiting to post:

I almost got all my decorations out for Halloween yesterday but I am trying my hardest to wait until Oct 1st! But I am just looking forward to hay rides and pumpkin picking, corn mazes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin carving, costumes and so much more!! Halloween is wonderful! Alright... Back to work tomorrow, I will post and catch up soon hopefully, now that I have only 2 more weeks off of school, this time is going by way too fast!!!

Family Vacation… the beginning

Ok, so here it is… Finally… Our first family vacation ever! (Other than camping silly) It started off with going to work, I know, horrible way to start a vacation. Both me and Kyle were able to get off early though… Well that morning the morning of July 30th I got into our car that we JUST got back from the shop (after over a month) and the check engine light came on AGAIN, this is after Kyle had heard it sputtering while he was changing the oil the night before, so I pondered taking the car anyway for .2 seconds and than called my parents who where in North Carolina to see if we could borrow their car since they didn’t need it.. them being them said, of course, so we left work a little earlier, took our car to the shop, Kyle picked me up than took me to my parents than we were off to our house to get the car packed… Packed up the car, Kyle came and got all of us and WHAT? The doors are locked? The car is running and we are on the outside? This isn’t right… Mad dash to the house, find the phone book and calling the lock smith… “Hi, this is lock and key” me, “um Hi, we just locked our keys in the car and” Click.. guess we should have checked all the doors before we called the lock smith huh… Sorry guy that I hung up on for no apparent reason, I blame my lack of phone etiquette on Kirk Ray… Why? Because I haven’t blamed anything on him for awhile..

Anyway, than we were on our way, after a short little trip to Fred Meyer for gas and cameras (that’s right, cameras, because our camera was at my parents house in our other car… Oh wait, what? You mean it was at our house in our closet the whole time? Would have been nice to know that before the trip!!) anyway, at Fred Meyer Kyle dropped me off without my purse and started to drive off so I got to run through the parking lot yelling after him, that was fun. Hun, we should do that again sometime.
After this we hit Wendy’s than the road! The boys were excited, we did goody bags for every hour of the trip and they loved it! And thanks to Susan for saving us by letting us use her dual moitor DVD player for the car! Jackson did wonderful the whole trip which was great! And so did the boys, they really all did wonderful!

We stopped to take a look at the Twin Falls temple, which wasn’t dedicated yet so we could go in it.. .It was a cool experience, even though, well my kids decided that I didn’t actually need to see the temple.. .I guess that’s cool?
So we are off again, stop in Burley to get gas and what’s this? (do you like how I must ask questions instead of just writing out what happen? It’s a new thing I am trying apparently) The car wont start? That’s cool, ask around and someone has cables and we are off, make it to the hotel fine, which actually ended up being a bummer because it didn’t look like the website and it smelled like smoke, good thing we didn’t spend too much time there! We went to dinner, which was laughable, seeming how I got to eat dinner in the hotel room because I am pretty sure the restaurnant forgot to enter my order, anyway, than we had the men take the kids swimming and the swimming area was a sauna… Horrible! Anyway, after getting complaints about our kids jumping around (I don’t blame them, I love hotels, they are so much fun especially for kids)

I guess I only got a picture of Braxten in the hotel and I have no clue what is with the face??

Anyway, than we finally got laid down and tried to sleep even though we were oh so excited for Lagoon the next day!!
At this point I would like to say I am sooooo sorry to Aaron and Mistie who had to drive the whole way there without A/C… so so sorry! More to come
