So I have kind of slacked on the bloggin front lately, so I am going to do a short little catch up, even though I still need to post about our summer vacation... I will get there! Eventually :) But for now.....
So Jackson, This little guy has got a total of 5 teeth now, he had his top two break through about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, and he had one of his top eye teeth break through I think 3 days ago! He is cruisin around our house in his own form of crawling which entails getting on his hands and knees than falling to his tummy, he does this very rapidly and he gets places very fast ;) he has started eating some finger foods, although he really doesn't like them and will yell at them or try to smack them out of his hands (he doesn't get he can just let go, goof!)He still has a lot of his hair from when he was born, Although it is all in a strip down the middle of his head, perfect to make a mohawk with!!
I love this picture because you can see his cute little teeth :)
He has found the wonder of bubbles, can I tell you that I LOVE bubbles! They are awesome, if I could just live in a room full of bubbles for ever I would be happy as can be... Gymboree bubbles are the best because they are sugar based and they will actually fill a room with bubbles and they don't pop that easily so its awesome!!So I know that this is a picture of a ceiling fan, BUT its also a wonderful example of how these bubbles fill up a room! Its awesome!
Gannon is kind of confused about the whole Braxten going to school thing so when I was talking to him and telling him that he would be the big man of the house at my sister-in-law Mistie's house because it would only be him, her son Sawyer and Jackson, he said "No, I don't want to, I really don't want to" So much for that approach! I think he will like it though! Being the big man as he has always been one of the youngest.Gannon is just doing wonderful, he is so sweet and smart, there have been many times in talking to Braxten and trying to teach Braxten where Gannon will but in and tell Braxten the answer, well at least one of them is listening!
Braxten is at the age where he wants to dress himself.... This kills me as I must have everything match, but I still let him do it...The boys all had some Popsicles the other night and Jackson had his first one... He LOVED it...
A little too much as this is the reaction we got when we took it away!!
Turns out the new yellow one we gave him wasn't as good as the green!! Although we think it was because he was cold and sticky so we threw him in the sink to warm him up!
Cute Jackson loved the water!!!
Well that is it!! ALL my men!! And I will come back and post about our vacation and other fun stuff that has been going on! But, now I need to do laundry/dishes/pickup and get ready for snack and for the boys to get up!! soooooo....

And He is off!
So today is Braxten's first day of school! So sad, But I am soooo, excited for him! I really think that this will be such a wonderful experience for him!! He has been doing a lot of things to get ready for kindergarten, learning to write his name (he refused to do this till his kindergarten teacher told him to!) and trying to learn to tie shoes:
Well the morning of, I woke up and found him already awake and he grinned from ear to ear the whole morning! He was so excited! I was actually surprised to see him so excited because he really had shown no emotion up until this point, I got at least one picture of him before he started eating breakfast but it doesn't begin to capture how excited he was.
Our little tradition for the first day of school is that they get to pick what they want for breakfast and Braxten chose french toast, Well I told him that I would get him bananas and whipped cream for them and he informed me that that was disgusting...He had two pieces and 3 pieces of bacon... Wasn't so disgusting was it Braxten :) He actually loved it and was happy that we ended up giving it to him! Gannon enjoyed it as well, he totally the it was good and even though he is confused about Braxten going to school he did really good!
Gannon smelled the breakfast and said... It smells like breakfast... goof...
that is the only picture I could get of Jackson because he kept moving!!
Than we did the traditional photo in from of the door!! Braxten... Is HUGE, he looked soooo big!I don't know what is up with that face!
He is soooo big!! We were than off to the school WITHOUT a camera... Which was such a bummer, the teach lined all the kids up against the wall outside the class and took pictures so hopefully we will get a copy! He was so good, he just stood there and waved and blew kisses at us, I was so tearing up the whole time, but when he walked in the class room without me, I lost it! He is soooo big and so brave, it didn't even phase him! I know he will do awesome in the class, he is so social and such a good boy, I just want him to still by my baby... Not my going to school huge boy!! Love ya bug! And that is that.. I am now the mother of a school boy... :(

Its just so hard :)
So tomorrow we get to go see who Braxten's teacher for kindergarten is! I am soooo sad, I am also so very happy and excited for him but I can't help but to be worried out of my mind! I have these tiny worries as well as my big worries. He is just so small, and if someone is mean to him I will just die! BUT I know that even though I am the only one who has ever gone through this and my child is the only one that has ever had a first day :) its just so sad to think that my tiny little bug is already 5 and that he is going into the big bad world already!!! I know that everything is going to be fine and that he is going to have so much fun, I mean I loved school so much! It was so much fun, so I am happy for this new step in his life, BUT it doesn't mean that I don't stay awake at night thinking and worrying about all the what if's... the how is he going to know.... Will they teach him... And all that fun stuff! Its just.... Life and even if I feel like I haven't taught him all that I feel I need to, I have to send him out anyway and trust in myself as well as him!! Monday is the big day, I took the whole day off work so that I can be an emotional wreck, not really, but I will cry I am sure (no not in front of him, he is going to have a blast!) anyway... So there it is...

From the mind of Braxten
For kindergarten Braxten needed to tell me a story and I had to write it out for him, He made up a cute story that I loved so I just thought I would post it here to remember always :)
Once upon a time nice monsters were walking to a castle and then they found food on the floor and they saw a lion licking it off the floor than a tiger came and roared. A bat came and standed on the lion and the bat flew out the window. Than the bat found a bunch of bat food in the birdies nest. And a Jackson came and danced and then the bat flew a little bit, than his wings fell off and then he fell down and the bat fell off the tree.

Warm Lake Trip
So this July Debbie from my work asked us to go camping (well we were supposed to go in June but t-ball kindof took over June) we went up to Warm Lake which is like a little under an hour out of Cascade. We left our house a little late and when we got to warm lake we drove around and around looking for the camp site we were going to meet Debbie at. We pulled up to the site and its a good thing I knew what her car looked like or we would have gotten out and set up in some ones else's site :) So we figured we were at the wrong site had to turn around to the main road, drove like 2 more min. and ended up where we should have been, if we would have been more patient and kept driving we could have saved ourselves a little time :) We finally got to the site around 845 and set up camp, started a fire and went to bed. The next morning we woke up and got to see our site, it was gorgeous there was a creek and a little area right next to our site, like 40 feet away (ok, this could be anywhere from 2 to 200 feet off for all I know) anyway, and we were so close to it that if anyone wanted to use that spot they would have to walk through our camp so we had it all to ourselves :) fun!! Here are some pictures, mine don't do it justice, Debbie's are better but I can't find the CD... Opps! The boys had a lot of fun playing in the stream...
We got in the stream later that day and it was FREEZING! Like take your breath away freezing, Kyle cried when he got in, OK, not really but you could imagine what it would be like if he did!! Anyway so it was more a throwing rocks in stream :) But fun none the less. Later that day we painted t-shirts, I had them laying around and wanted to do the paints but didn't want to deal with the mess, So I figured why not do it up camping? like no clean up! Odd activity for camping trip I know (side note, Gannon just came to tell on Jackson because Jackson bit his nose... Too funny!) Anyway, here are some pics...
Apparently Braxten sniffs paint?!?!
I was so proud of Kyle :) Love ya babe!
We decided to go for a short hike...
which was seriously like 4 min because we realized that we hadn't reapplied the sunscreen and bug spray so we went back to camp, than Jackson got hungry, so we fed him...
Than we headed out again
we took a short walk to what ended up being a small really crowded beach so we went back to camp ate lunch, had Gannon lay down for a nap and than headed out to find some water the boys could play in, we decided to drive to where me and Kyle thought we were camping to find a place to swim
we found a gorgeous place that thankfully was not crowded in the least since we got there so late
Now I want you to take a second and look at this next picture, look at the background and see how beautiful this lake is! Than notice that all those trees on the hills are burnt, there was a huge fire in this area last year and as we were driving up all of a sudden everything was just burnt, it was crazy! Anyway, back to the picture, please now bring your attention to the people in the picture on your right I would like to point out... YEP, Kyle picking his nose! No, he isn't I even zoomed in to see it, he is scratching his lip or something but I still think its funny... Probably because I am immature :)
Than we headed back and had some smores, went to bed, got up and packed!! It was a wonderful camping trip, so very relaxing, and the weather was perfect. Here are some more pics...
Debbie's baby Punky!
So I feel like I have to write something at the end of the post or it wont truly be the end.

5 Years... Unbelievable
So its crazy to think it, but its true, me and Kyle have been married for 5 years on July 5th! Pure craziness, its been a wonderful life with Kyle! We grow together daily and are still surprising each other and keeping each other on our toes. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with this wonderful man! He is everything I could ask for and I can't believe he is mine :)
Anyway :) So on our anniversary we went to a movie which was a surprise and he was doing some talking on the phone that I was so curious about but he wouldn't let me know what all the talking was about, I finally got it out of him that he had called his dad to tell him, whatever it was, and I was done thinking about it. We went and picked up the boys and I opened the door when I got home and saw this:He was on the phone with his little accomplice (thanks Mistie)
And thank you Kyle... for being you and for putting up with me for so many years :) Love ya :)

Happy 4th... more timley than the rest of the posts :) Well It was the first time I went to post it :)
So this year was the first year we were going to host the 4th, Our street isn't that good to do it on because its so busy, but with Jackson being sick and I think one of the other boys may have been, it was just easier to be so close to home. Well we were going to have a bunch of family over for fireworks and BBQ, although it turned out to only be Aaron and Mistie(Kyle's brother and his wife) and their kids, and my mom and dad, AND Aaron and Mistie weren't even staying for the fireworks! So they were getting ready to leave to go be with Mistie's dad and they realized, HEY she is going over there with just her dad, we are here with just my parents, Why not all hang out! So we packed up and headed down the road since it wasn't that far. We had an AWESOME show, fireworks for a good hour if not more and there was at least 4 or 5 going at once! It really was awesome and there were fireworks in the sky all around us! It ended up being an awesome fourth and here are some pictures of our fun day!Braxten had the best seat in the house... um yard?
Kyle having some fun with sparklers!
I found my happy place :)
Cute BUG
Gannon being brave enough to actually hold a sparkler! It seriously has been a fight so to speak to get him to do this! He was even afraid of those pop-its... Funny fearless? Gannon
AARON (Yes, I know who my husband is!!) trying to get Braxten to hold a sparkler
Boys being boys! Trying to make a bomb but it didn't work this year because of how they made the ground blooms.. Hmm...
Mimi, gumpa and Gannon
Jackson and his first 4th AND piece of watermelon that he loved.
