Gannon's Big Day!!

So on Sept 18th Gannon turned the big 4!!

It really was a fun day! I took the day off of work and we got up a little later than usual and got Braxten ready and off to school, than we headed out with Mistie and Gannon's best bud Sawyer to the park. We had a good time at the park swinging on the swings

And playing music on their wonderful HUGE musical instruments!!

After we were done at the park we went and picked up Braxten and headed out to a special birthday lunch with Kyle. We came home that night and had cupcakes, cookies and a little 'party' with my brother and his girlfriend and my parents where Gannon opened some presents and I apparently didn't get any pictures...
So than it was time for his big birthday party... we were having some people (I guess I scheduled this on a really bad day because no one was going to be able to come) go over to my parents house and we were going to have a inflatable house and a pinata and have some cake and stuff. Well as I was doing my hair and getting ready to go I look out the window and What's this??? Rain... Really? Perfect timing... no really.. couldn't be better timing! So I hurry... I have to find SOMETHING else.. So to spare you the details... i called everyone and got set up to go to Planet Kid... WOW.. Success! Seriously, couldn't have been better if I planned it... We TOOK my niece and nephews to give their parents a day together for their anniversary (I say took because we were supposed to give them to someone else half way through the day and decided not to) and headed out to Planet kid.. While it was raining... And took all the presents out.. in the rain... and the sprinklers are on... Perfection ;) Anyway, we got there and set up really fast to surprise Gannon once they were done playing... We did a pretty good job too...

And than we went and PLAYED!!

My friend Dani's daughter Myra

Quinncy, who is not mad in this picture but for some reason looks like it??

Connor and Sawyer

Ashlyn

And now for the slide pictures... I was trying to get pictures of the kids coming down the slide and I got about 15 of these

Because as it turns out I am not gifted, talented or sometimes even useful with a camera.... I have a horrible time trying to get 'action' pictures... Anyway, after about 15 of those shots I was able to get the following shots of the kids coming off the slide...

Connor may or may not have been humoring me in that picture!
So after a good hard hour of playing we than went up for some cake and ice cream

Just a note: I have no clue who made this cake... We just woke up and there it was on our doorstep! I wish.. oh how I wish I could thank that wonderful person for making my Gannon such a wonderful cake!!

Than we opened up some presents...

And my dad smiled...

After we were done at Planet Kid we grabbed some lunch for all the kids and than headed home. We had a pinata that we had no where to hang so we talked with the kids and they were up for a little beat the pinata on the ground :)

Eligh proved to be quit elusive in all of these photos... In case you didn't notice.

We played hard with all of Gannon's new fun toys, and than Kyle and all the kids wrestled...

Than pizza was eaten, videos games were played, cars were driven all over the house, laughter was had and me and Quinncy did a little girl bonding and did some cross stitching. It was a fun filled, kid filled day and I absolutely loved it!

Slowly But Surely....

I will be catching up! (tons of pictures coming your way.. Just to warn you!!)
After whipping out 3 homework assignments (and by whipping I mean spent almost all day) I have decided to blog for a little... I have a list of stuff back from September to blog and I am still going to blog it even though it is outdated because I am cool like that :) Anyway, so I will blog about the wonderful Mnt. Home Air Show... I truly love this show, I think they do an awesome job, and its nice to let the kids be outside and watch planes, or not watch planes, doesn't matter because we are just outside spending the time as a family. They have overpriced food and overpriced fun for the boys, and of course planes, helicopters, explosions, and the blue angels... now those are ingredients for a fun time! And this year they had heat... Oh my word was there heat... Like Kyle was blistered!! BLISTERED People!! (Just an FYI, I did bring sun screen... So ya know, put 2 and 2 together:) Anyway... Where was I? Ummm... PICTURES!!!

So we went with my whole family to the air show... It was kindof like my dad's birthday party celebration since it was on his birthday this year... So here is my brother, his wife and their daughter

My mom and dad

My brother and Gannon

And half of his girlfriend and Jackson

We left really early in the morning and when we got there it was perfect, like we had to wear coats at first and we were sure this was the perfect day for the air show (however we were proved wrong)
Here are the boys

Before the show started we hit some of the inflatables

Than my mom took the boys around to let them look inside the planes and she got some cute pictures of them!

Each of the boys got to sit in the pilots seat, they really liked that but the boys got scared when she tried to buckle them in...

Than the show started!

The explosions were really cool, you can kindof see them in the above picture...
We of course got some pictures of the kids and people watching

Hey Braxten, Watcha doin??

The show ended with the Blue Angels, these boys know how to fly... Its amazing

These planes were so cool that all the Air Force men took the best seats in the house to watch the show!

It was fun! I hope they do it again next year, we had to wait 2 years between shows this time.. Rude!
