This is going to be a crazy long post with tons of pictures... you have been warned...
So I love October! Love, love, love it! It is by far my favorite month out of the year, I love the activities, the cool weather, the colors. It is just great all around! Well with October 1st came all the Halloween decorations, and movies for Halloween. My favorite Halloween movie by far is Hocus Pocus and I was so thankful this year that the boys were just as in to it as I was so I got to watch it alot! We had a lot of fun participating in all the fun Halloween activities as well. The first weekend in October we went to my mom and dad's and had a little Halloween get together, we made crafts and watched the first Halloween movie of the season, which was Halloweentown, because I am a total looser and love those shows :) While at our little 'party' I asked Kyle to get a ton of pictures, I was flipping through the pictures and found...
Which is a picture of a half eaten sucker. I love you Kyle... And these...

Jackson was scared of that thing, it was something that blew air out...
Yeah.. He loves suckers!!

We also spent a few weekends cheering Gannon on in his soccer.. We got some really good action shots of him...
Just kidding. He really did do a good job, and unlike Braxten, while he was sitting on the field he didn't make the coach trip over him...

Gannon seemed to like soccer and he really enjoyed the party afterwards where he got a trophy, which to him I think made all the games he had to go to worth it. We were invited back to the same team next year, but Gannon said he doesn't want to play again, we shall see what he decides he would like to do for next year.
The next weekend was Braxten's school carnival, we went and as Kyle opened up the door to go inside he dropped our camera and there was no saving it, which is always lovely. We had fun at the carnival, it was hot and crowded, but hey, it was worth it! Than the next night we went on a double date with my brother and his girlfriend to a scary movie and a haunted maze, we had a blast and me and his girlfriend screamed and ran around like school girls. I even got scared as we were buying the tickets. Stupid tall guy who every one saw but me!
The next day the whole family went out to the Berry Ranch, which is a wonderful place to pick pumpkins, go on a hay ride and pet smelly animals (I really do like animals, to look at...) We had fun on the hay ride and Kyle scoured the whole field for the perfect big pumpkin, he didn’t disappoint... It was wonderful, and wonderful to carve.. Or half carve, which is what I did!
Here are pictures of our fun day!

Afterwards we went to Artic circle for our traditional Pumpkin Pie Milkshakes...
The next weekend me and Kyle were able to go to the BSU vs Hawaii game, than the next day we took the boys to a corn maze out in Marsing, the corn maze is awesome, huge and there are three different 'designs' that you can choose from. We didn't see a single person in the entire maze which was awesome, we had fun playing hide and seek for a good 45 min...

The maze we chose to go in was a Mother Goose maze and they had a bunch of the nursery rhymes, so the boys got to play in Peter Pumpkin Eaters Pumpkin!

We came out of the maze and went to the petting zoo and the hay maze...
(We had to borrow someone elses camera and apparently the camera had a blue hue setting or something to make half our pictures look like the above picture, I am sure when people go shopping for a camera, they are going for the blue hue setting.)

We got to see the cutest baby goat... Look at him... All together now.... AWE!
Than we went on a fun tractor ride...

The next weekend we had a Halloween party. And I just want to say THANK YOU to my wonderful family who goes along with all my fun games and stuff... We made cookies, and of course you can’t make cookies with out having flour on your nose.. And everywhere else...

While the cookies where baking we carved pumpkins!

The boys decided to stab their pumpkins like wild men and when we put the candles in them there was a wonderful affect....
Jackson ate the top of the pumpkin... because that’s who he rolls...
When we went to grab the pumpkins, We had a visitor from this wonderful guy...
We also made blushing apples...
After the pumpkins we played pin the nose on the witch, Seriously, I love my family! They totally played these games without me even having to ask twice, like I even said, you guys don’t have to if you don’t want... But they were all game! I love you guys and the fact that you let me have my fun ... I didn’t get pics of everyone doing this but here is what I have

Braxten WON!! He got a little prize!!
Than we did the whole donut on a string thing, It was Braxten and Gannon against eachother, Gannon won...
Me and Kyle competed, I won.. of course. Was there ever a question? Than mom and dad, Dad totally beat you mom.. I can’t believe you just stood there and let him beat you like that! Than it was movie time again...
We decorated the cookies later because we ran out of time that night.

Jackson got a mouth full of whipped cream and apparently didn't take to well to it!
The day before Halloween I got to go volunteer at Braxten’s school it was so fun to see him with all his little friends and put faces to the people he talks about. I got to run one of the games and have fun and joke around with the kids. I loved it!! Wish I could be there with him everyday!

Than it was HALLOWEEN!!! We started it off with going to my mom’s office and having the kids and their cousins trick or treat around the office, after getting way too much candy, we went home and got set up for the evening... Braxten was a vampire

Gannon was a reconnaissance (sp?) guy

Jackson was a spider
And I was his web
Trick or treating was a family affair as we had my little brother, older brother, his wife, their daughter and my parents along.
Braxten, Gannon and Ashlyn

We trick or treated the heck out of our neighborhood, it was insane, like dumping the buckets twice along the way! Good grief! We got home and my parents say... oh here guys this is for you, we know you don’t have enough candy in your house right now so here is a 1.5 lb bag of chocolate... NO JOKE... You can totally see our need for this right??? (Love you mom and dad!!) Anyway, we watched Nightmare Before Christmas for the last time this season, and drifted off to sleep! It was an awesome, busy October! Can’t wait for next year!
Here are some more happenings from October...
Jackson got to take his first bath with Braxten and Gannon, this lasted like seconds because as soon as the picture was taken Gannon decided to pour 2 cups of water over Jackson's head and had to exit the tub...
We ate spagetthit... NO this doesn't only happen in October, however this is a cute picture, you can see the spiderweb place mats I made....
AND....
Jackson had some fun with it.. And after we were done washing him up in the sink, he decided to relax for a bit
Braxten got this nice shinner from when he was playing in his room, he was jumping on his bed and apparently got his head stuck between the bed and the wall, Instead of calling for us to come help him he just pulled his head out, resulting in this nice scratch and black eye
In October Kyle took about a picture of Pedro
Actually he takes pictures of thim constatly filling up our camera.. Yeah, It great...
We had a wonderful month, This was a crazy, crazy long post.. A whole month in one post... Needless to say with we were exhausted by the end of October...

Yep, thats Gannon asleep in the hall
Next up we have Thanksgiving...
