Labor Day Camping Trip

So we went on our annual Labor day camping trip this year with Aaron and Mistie, we went up to Grimm's Creek, Here is Jackson keeping me company in the tent while I was setting everything up

We had a nice relaxing evening where we made dinner and realized how much we had forgot to bring because we changed meals at the last minute and we completely forgot marshmallows for the smores. So me and Mistie took a short trip to Idaho City to grab some marshmallows and ice and to laugh at the biggest can of tea Mistie had ever seen! We got back and made some YUMMY smores....

I was playing around with him and all of a sudden he refused to lift his hood from over his face..
And than he did this...

Until we all laid down to go to bed, than he woke up and cried for like 5 minutes and than poof, he was asleep!

There were a ton of bugs up there and this picture is of when a moth or some sort of flying bug got into the lantern and all the kids had to gather around and see what happen.
We got some good sleep and woke up the next morning to relax, eat breakfast and relax

The men took the kids on a hike and this is what Braxten did

So this is as far as he got! He didn't even make it across the creek : ) But the others did and they had fun!

When Kyle took Gannon on the hike I gave him the camera and told him to take a lot of pictures of everything, I got the above three and these

We were so tired by the end of the day

We headed home in time to have dinner at home.... I think (I can't remember), although the Labor Day camping trip wouldn't have been our camping trip until we got a visit from the kamikaze humming bird! So nice of it to visit, at least it was only for a short time this time! Anyway, it was fun....
