So the next day of our Lagoon trip was Thanksgiving Point and temple square day, we got up and ready after being somewhat well rested (there was children coughing in our room and falling off beds all night so we didn't get the greatest nights sleep!) Anyway, we headed to IHOP and than we were on our way to Thanksgiving Point, I didn't know what to expect because I had never been there but it was seriously awesome. I think there are like 3 different displays that have like animals and farm stuff, but we just went to see the dinosaurs!! We pulled up and this is what we see...
It was going to be a fun day! One of the first rooms they have is for claymation miniature sets, the detail was insane! They were so cool! We got some pics, of course...
So the pictures are going to be that great here because I can't remember why but we were to one camera for both families, the camera was a disposable one and whatever pictures I took with my phone, They are kind of fuzzy but it works! Anyway, than you go into this museum off all things prehistoric, its awesome, they have little areas where there are hands on exhibits, they had life size displays of underwater scenes and dinosaurs. Here are some of the pictures...

So its really a bummer because they have this area where the kids can dig for fossils and they can play in a big ol area with sand and water and they form islands and landforms, I got pictures of all the kids playing in this area but the pictures didn't turn out! Totally bummed! Anyway, they have a really cool short room where you walk through and it is like you are in space because it is like pitch black with a ton of stars, here is us trying to get a picture of everyone...
I think Gannon was trying to get away? We also went to see a 3-D Sea Monster movie, it was sooo cool, Braxten wouldn't put his glasses on for some reason?? Anyway, from here we went and grabbed a bite to eat and headed to Temple Square, Here are a couple pictures

Everyone was so hot and tired that we really didn't get to spend much time here, we left and played around on the tram (If that is what its called), and by play around I mean we took them going the wrong way, took it to the end of the line, got off, realized we shouldn't have got off, got back on and rode all the way back to where we started and than some! It was fun, I love the mishaps of vacations, they give stories to tell! Anyway, we went back to the hotel where the men needed to rest so me and Mistie took some of the kids down to the pool to play, than me and Mistie decided to go to see a movie, we went to the new Mummy movie (sucked) than decided that we had to at least try to get Breaking Dawn, It was past midnight so our only hope was probably a Wal-Mart, and maybe, just maybe a Barnes and Nobles, so we asked some locals, she told us to take a left out of the parking lot and keep going straight, we did, we were in neighborhoods, no stores anywhere in sight, so we turn around and take another left hoping she forgot to tell us to take a left.. WRONG, we got into a creepy part of town and than I did a U-Turn by a ditch and a old junk yard.. Scary when its late in a bad part of town where you don't know... Anyway... This doesn't sound as fun as it was.. So I will just say this...
Zombies Walking barefoot drinking
Utah girls at movie theaters don't know left from right
Ditches are scary
Beans and bruises
It doesn't mean anything to you but I will remember... OH and the best part we found a Wal-Mart all by ourselves AND were able to get the book (which I totally loved!!)
The next day we packed up to go home and went to Hogel Zoo, I have never been there and I loved it, it was huge though so we weren't able to see everything and it was hot so I feel like we cut it short
Kids being Monkeys!
Jackson not diggin the stroller
Albino Alligator exhibit

They had drums and other musical instruments to play with at the elephant exhibit, it was cool and the boys had a lot of fun!
I got to see a giraffe for the first time ever
After looking at the animals we went to a fun bird show they put on, we got some pictures of us all waiting for the show to start...

After the zoo we grabbed a bite to eat and decided what we would want to do from there, we decided to go see Journey to the Center of the World which was a good movie, than we hit the road! We hadn't gotten far when we looked in our rear view mirror and saw Aaron and Mistie pulling over to the side of the road.... Their tire had blown
and the rubber flew up and hit their side mirror! Such a close call and soo scary, I am so happy that everyone was Ok and that Mistie was able to pull to the side of the road OK.
So they called and got ahold of Wal-Mart whose wonderful people in their tire department kept their shop open late just so they could help us! Me and Mistie grabbed the smaller kids and drove to Wal-Mart while the older kids stayed back with the men, we got the tire and had to do some re-arranging because we couldn't get everything to fit so Misite squished in the back with the kids. We got back, got the tire on the van and headed out a little later than scheduled :) We made it good from there and Subway in Burley was even open till like 11 so we were able to get good food on the way home!!
I loved our trip! Seriously was a blast, I feel bad that Aaron and Mistie had to do it all without AC and that their tire blew up, although its going to be a trip to talk about for quite sometime! I loved it and look forward to our next family vacation!

ok, I *totally* forgot about the zombie and the beans and bruises AND the girls at the movie theater! Hilarious, thanks for the laugh, although Aaron and the kids keep looking at me weird for laughing at the computer screen :)
